Going to see Shakespeare's Henry IV Part 1 in Stratford this December. My mum is coming over to see me for Christmas so I thought I'd take her for a bit of a culture experience lol. I'm doing 1Henry IV for my dissertation so it all works out perfectly. Spent a fortune on the tickets though ;_; Figured I might as well buy the best seats because sitting in bad seats is such a waste of money. If you can't see it properly then what's the point in going? So I ended up paying over £100 for 3 tickets (they refused to give me a student rate) but its my Christmas treat ^.^" its not like I go often anyway lol.
Since the RSC is redoing their main theatre we're in "The Courtyard Theatre" which is a temporary one. My dissertation supervisor advised me not to get tickets at the side because the view is not good (its an elizabethan-style theatre with seating all around the stage) so i paid the premium price to get tickets in the front.
Hopefully it will be a good show

Stupid amount of work to be getting on with. You'd think that having only 4 hours of taught seminars a week would leave you with lots of time but NO No no... ;_; I have so much to do its insane /misery. No art will be forthcoming any time soon ^.^"
